Note from Director Mike Livingston:
Basketball season is here! THe NBA has started and college hoops is just about to launch. Starting 20 years ago, we realized that youth recreational basketball leagues were typically dominated by the 2-3 best athletes on the court while the other players saw very little development. Even worse, those 2-3 primary players developed bad habits that would not be sustainable versus good competition across the board. Where's the fun in that? We decided to start our own league run the way we believe a league should be run. Our coaches are on the court assisiting the players (as opposed to shouting instructions from the sidelines). We force players to improve their weaknesses to become better all-around players. Finally, we insert specific rules to help each individual player reach their potential and to play to their level of excellence. Do you have a group of buddies who want to play together? Great! We can put them on the same team. Coming in as a free agent? No problem - we will place you on a team with other players in your grade. Get out and play!
